About Tim Franssen
Tim Franssen is a guy with broad interests. Which has lead to a lot of different hobbies, but also to having developed opinions on lots of different topics. Some of those opinions might even be somewhat interesting to read 😉
In a professional capacity Tim is also hard to characterize under a single definition. Currently he is part-time software engineer, part-time user experience designer, part-time privacy advocate and part-time inventor of new products. He sometimes does some marketing or design work on the side.
In the past Tim has studied studied Computer Science at the University of Twente and the Saxion University of applied sciences in Enschede. After that he obtained a Master of Computer Science degree with a specialisation in Human Media Interaction.
Disclosure
Since 2013 Tim has been working as a product developer on different projects at Nedap Healthcare. Next to that he was one of the founding board members of the Nuts initiative, which he remained for five years. These experiences have shaped the way he looks at the world.

Over Tim Franssen
Tim is een vent met veel verschillende interesses. Dat uit zich in een boel hobbies, maar ook in het feit dat hij over veel dingen wel een mening heeft ontwikkeld. Soms is die mening zelfs interessant om te lezen 😉
Ook in professionele zin is Tim maar moeilijk onder één labeltje te vangen. Momenteel is hij part-time softwareontwikkelaar, part-time user experience designer, part-time privacy-voorvechter en part-time uitvinder van nieuwe producten. En soms doet hij nog wat marketing- of designwerk.
In het verleden heeft Tim Informatica gestudeerd aan de Universiteit Twente en de Saxion Hogeschool in Enschede. Daarna heeft hij zijn Master of Computer Science behaald met de specialisatie Human Media Interaction.
Disclosure
Sinds 2013 werkt Tim als productontwikkelaar bij Nedap Healthcare aan verschillende onderwerpen. Daarnaast heeft hij aan de wieg gestaan van het Nuts initiatief, waar hij vijf jaar bestuurslid is geweest. Deze ervaringen kleuren zijn perspectief.
